JBL EON715 Review (2026): The Best All-Around PA Speaker
Last updated: May 2026 · Reading time: 8 min
The JBL EON715 is the speaker that does everything well. It’s not the cheapest, not the loudest, and not the lightest — but it’s the most versatile powered PA speaker for mobile DJs, small venues, and corporate events. After testing it in venues from 50 to 500 people, here’s our full review.
Sound Quality
The 15″ driver delivers full, punchy bass that you can feel. The 1.5″ compression driver handles mids and highs with clarity. At 1300W peak, it gets loud enough for a 300-person venue without straining.
What sets the EON715 apart is JBL’s DSP processing. The built-in EQ presets (Normal, Boost, Extend Low) let you tune the sound for different environments. The Bluetooth 5.0 input is genuinely useful for background music between sets.
